On September 29, 2022, I did a huge donation drop off to the West LA Animal shelter. I gave them over 150 toys (for both dogs and cats combined), 1 food dispenser, 3 small plastic food bowls, 1 sweater, 1 dog leash, 1 bow tie, 6 frisbees, 5 small animal houses, 2 food puzzles, 2 rugs, 5 leashes, 1 collar, 1 harness, 1 brush, 2 hamster toys, 11 rabbit hay toys, 1 large cat litter pan, a bunch of fish and hamster supplies, 2 fish bowls, some dog treats, 1 feet cleaner, some hamster toys, and a homemade cat house. The toys that I donated will go into a toy rotation program that I created, where the toys are rotated between animals (after being sanitized/cleaned) so that the animals do not have to play with the same toy for an extended period of time. This will help with boredom and stress in the shelter!
